Expert opinion
: The Feeling Universal resin bit is a double jointed that offers a simple contact. It allows a better relaxation of your horse's mouth by a smoother transmission of your aids. Unlike the single jointed which acts on the palate, the double jointedacts on the tongue without causing pain. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. The resin allows a more pleasant and relaxing contact. Especially in winter, when stainless steel bits have a cold effect on the mouth, resin bits are not and play a more important role in relaxation.
The Universal bit has a lowering effect. The reins can be fixed on the bottom ring or with rings on the middle and bottom ring. Can be used with rings (not included with the bit) or a second pair of reins (not included with the bit) according to the rider's preference.
Material
Resin : Feeling offers a resin made from non-toxic polyurethane, which gives the horse a prolonged apple flavour to help it accept the bit. Resin bits remain at room temperature. They offer a soft contact but are less tender and thick than a rubber bit. The apple flavour encourages chewing.
Caution : This material is vulnerable and is not guaranteed by the manufacturer against wear and tear due to biting. We strongly advise against using a bit that is too damaged, as this could injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
