Expert opinion
: The BR double jointed is a relatively soft and classic bit. It allows a better relaxation of your horse's mouth. Unlike the single bit which acts on the palate, the double bit acts on the tongue without causing pain. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. The free rings offer a soft contact to the mouth. They allow for a slight indirect contact compared to fixed rings, which makes it easier to play in the fingers and limit excessive tension.
Material
Stainless steel : Stainless steel is an alloy of iron, chromium and nickel, it has a great resistance to bites. Its taste is neutral, it does not have saliva-activating properties, so it does not increase the horse's chewing activity.
