Pelham beris Autopilot confort
QUANTITY
Expert opinion : The pelham is a compromise between the bridle and the snaffle. It has a leverage effect and can be used with one or two reins. This bit is particularly suitable for horses that cannot tolerate pressure on the tongue and react by shaking their head for example. The fine comfort bit is characterized by a very slight curvature of the mouthpiece. This anatomically shaped mouthpiece rests lightly and evenly on the tongue, giving it more room and freedom. When taking the reins, the pressure on the lower jaw and the tongue is even. This prevents the tongue and the bars from getting stuck on the side. The use of washers makes it impossible for the lips to get stuck. Thanks to its slightly curved shape, the straight comfort barrel lies quietly in the mouth. Mouthpieces with a slight curvature are known to be particularly soft on the mouth. beris AUTOPILOT: The innovative design automatically positions the mouthpiece in the horse's mouth so that the pressure on the tongue and mandible is as low as possible. The anatomy of the mouth varies from horse to horse as do their preferences for mouthpiece positioning, which the animal can now determine for itself. Pulling on the reins increases the pressure on the jaw and the bars without changing the positioning of the mouthpiece in the horse's mouth! The use of a ribbon or metal curb chain can also significantly reduce the pressure on the neck. We recommend the use of the AUTOPILOT beris for horses that: - appreciate a lasting freedom of movement of the tongue - prefer a mobile bit in the mouth - cannot easily tolerate pressure on the neck - can become overly spirited if they have a sensitive mouth.
Resin : Beris bits are made of resin, with a specially smooth surface that allows the bit to slide into the horse's mouth without the "gumming" effect that traditional resin bits can cause. This material is so smooth and soft to the touch that it can even be considered for horses that have difficulty salivating. This resin is made from a plastic material for food use. A real asset to obtain chewing and a good acceptance of the bit thanks to its soft touch and its ambient temperature.
> Handcrafted.
Caution : This material is vulnerable and is not guaranteed by the manufacturer against wear and tear due to biting. We strongly advise against using a bit that is too damaged, as this could injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
