To preserve your tack over time, proper care is essential. The lifespan of leather is extended when it is well-maintained and stored in a dry place. Initially, we recommend oiling your bridle before its first use to soften and waterproof the leather. Subsequently, clean your leather regularly with glycerin soap and nourish it with a leather balm (approximately every two weeks, depending on usage). An annual oiling is necessary and should be repeated if the leather feels too stiff.

Your bridle must be adapted to your horse's head and needs. Properly fitted, it must ensure your horse's comfort and avoid unpleasant pressure points and rubbing to improve communication with the rider. When choosing your bridle, take into account the morphology of your horse's head, any sensitivities it may have, and the discipline you practice. 

The bridle is a communication tool between the horse and its rider. Like the bit, it's important to choose a model adapted to the morphology and sensitivity of your horse's head and mouth. The bridle should fit your horse's head, neither too tightly nor too loosely. The headpiece should not press on the nape of the neck or the base of the ears, the cheek pieces should be symmetrical, the bit should rest comfortably in the mouth without pulling on the corners of the mouth, and the noseband should not compress the airways. Your bridle should not create unpleasant pressure points for your horse, and should be adapted to his physiognomy and sensitivities.
